Homeopathic medicines are prepared from natural substances, originating from the three kingdoms: Vegetal, Animal and Mineral/Chemical – and not just from plants, as one might think.
These substances, identified by their Latin names, give the name to the homeopathic medicine so that its designation is universal. It is from this original substance that successive dilutions are made necessary to create the homeopathic medicine. In the dilution process, the substance gradually loses its toxicity, preserving, however, its specific therapeutic effect.
